The 2011 Tony Awards are more than just a theatrical ceremony presenting those who have excelled on Broadway, it is one of theaters most fashionable night.
Patina Miller, nominated for Best Performance by a Lead Actress, for her role in Sister Act wore a beautiful, backless metallic and black sequined dress by Naeem Khan. She absolutely stole the show on the runway.
Jennifer Damiano, actress in the Broadway adaptation of Spider Man: Turn off the Dark, looked radiant in a rich yellow Reem Acra creation.
There was no question that Judith Light was definitely the boss at the Tony Awards in a fabulous red Alexander McQueen, long sleeved gown. The gold embellishment around the collar and wrists was divine.
We cant leave out when someone chooses to wear a Michael Kors creation, so we have to talk about Sutton Foster, a winner both of a Tony and Fashion Nod from the Marquis of Fashion team. The olive green strapless piece was unique on the red carpet, not to mention rouged in all the right places. Foster was an absolute knockout.
Our last diva of the night was Catherine Zeta-Jones and she did not fail to wow the crowd (and us), in her red, radiant Elie Saab gown. It was modest with a little bit of sex; it was perfection.
All in all, when it comes to fashion, the Tony Awards did not disappoint.
