A Christmas Wish
Merry Ho Ho and Happy Holidays to everyone who’s reading this. I am currently in Cabo after a short and eventful stop over in New York which I’ll tell you all about in a second. So… An admission. I’ve never been to Cabo and furthermore I’ve never been somewhere warm for Christmas before in my life! Yet here I am enjoying the beautiful beaches, the glorious sand underfoot and the healthy hot weather. Not too warm but just right.
I am SO excited to chomp on my first seafood meal from the adjoining Sea of Cortez, enjoy views of the gorgeous mountains, lands end, ocean, and beaches and use them as backdrops for my style shoots and of course to celebrate Christmas and bring in the new year with my family in the heat.
Unfortunately not all my family could be here as some are still in the frigid Canadian weather while others are in Slovakia and so on but I’m with all of them in spirit. And speaking of Spirits… TEQUILA!!!
I’m in Mexico! Cabo is known for a lot of things and having a good time and letting off steam is certainly one of them. But don’t worry I wont stop writing even though my posts may be a little more “Saucey” than usual. “Sauce” being the operative syllable in that word.
I just wanted to quickly say Merry Xmas and, even though I’m sunning in the tropics doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten about you. Much Love. But before I go I wanted to tell you a little about my New York stop over. First we checked into our hotel, dropped off our baggage and literally ran to Manhattan. First order of business was dinner and having as many restrictions as I have with my diet I was picky about the place we dined at so naturally I chose Risotteria at 270 Bleeker St. The atmosphere was exactly what I wanted, bustling, loud, incredibly intimate and Gluten Free! Best Gluten Free bread sticks and risotto I’ve had in a LONG TIME I highly recommend it.
Then it was off to the Big Gay Ice Cream Shop and finally to Duplex for some seriously talented live performers. My day in NYC was the perfect prelude to what is now the most relaxing and comfortable Christmas’s I’ve ever had.
So from me and mine to you and yours Merry Christmas guys and stay tuned over the holiday season for all that I see in Cabo San Lucas! Also follow my Marqstagram for up to the minute Mexico updates!
