Stop trying to run from the natural disasters and embrace what they can do for your trendy @ss! Floods for example allow you to embrace the cuffed pant! Which is so in right now! In fact the cuffed pant is SO in right now, that I think it will be popular right on through the fall and winter seasons. Unless of course it’s cold wherever it is that you live.
To get the look: First thing’s first, buy pants that fit well around your waist, butt, and thighs, and then get them hemmed to the perfect length. Oh… that’s what you do anyway? Okay good. Next step: Now fold your pants up one inch, and then repeat one more inch, but be careful! This next roll is the most important and will determine if you have a nice tight rolled up pant exposing the perfect amount of ankle, or a botched surgery! So roll carefully or risk looking like a poor Jocelyn Wildenstein.
Then, while holding the roll tightly in your hand roll it up once more and then examine in a full length mirror… STAND STRAIGHT! How does it look? can you see a well exposed ankle that is free and begging for high tide? Then you have succeeded!
If the roll is looking like a capri pant (between your knee and your ankle,) it is too high. If the roll is below your ankle… too low. And in the words of Goldie Locks if the roll is just above the ankle then you have a pant that is rolled… Juuuuuust riiiiiight.
