What do you Think of Drew’s Wedding Dress?
The dress was a custom muslin and organza Chanel that was fitted in Paris and L.A. for the mom to be. Her baby bump was not at the stage yet where her dress had to be a mu-mu style or even have an expandable waist band but she did opt for a black satin band around the mid-section perhaps to give the appearance of a slender waist but probably just to match the black Chane jacket the she wore later on in the evening.
The ruffled collar and pleated bodice was an interesting option for the bride seeing as how that isn’t a trend nor did it look especially flattering. Barrymore is beautiful even though she has never won awards for her style choices (except for “Worst Dressed” by the Fashion Police earlier this year), but on her special day, it seemed as though the dress looked dated and, to be frank, unattractive. With pleated three quarter length sleeves, a ruff that draped down around her neck, and more small ruffles than a Mardi Grass Parade.
Though the dress was a miss the jewelery was a big hit. The pieces were from the Chanel Fine Jewelery collection and they were a gorgeous pair of diamond and white gold earrings labelled “Fil de Camelia” and a vintage cuff called “Eventail.” The other great piece to the look was a veil. It was simply done and handpicked by Drew herself. Perhaps she has style after all but maybe it has always been a case of bad styling? Who knows but one thing is certain… according to comments on various articles around the web, people feel the same way I do about the dress. Like these two below from People
Congrats to Drew. Do not like that dress at all.

I’m sorry; I love Drew but that was the ugliest wedding dress I have ever seen! The bodice looked like an old sweater, and who would put a black belt on a wedding dress AROUND A PREGNANT BELLY??
From this quote from NYMag it seems like even Karl didn’t really love the dress…
What do you think of the dress? This was tough for me because I love her so much but if I think of it as Drew Barrymore’s Twin then I can properly put my opinion into words. Let me know what you think if the dress in the comments below.
On the next page I grabbed an image of what I would have liked her hubby Will Kopelman to wear during the ceremony in place of that black tux that is traditional yes, but a little… boring.
