Mother F*ckin Fashion On A Mother F*ckin Plane
Coming home is always a nice treat especially when my family got together and paid for my plane ticket! How Sweet! The WestJet staff are overly kind and accommodating by allowing me to take these photos at 33,000 feet in the air.
But this brought me to a place of unsettling discomfort because, I knew I’d have to be on a plane for about four hours (which isn’t terrible) but upon disembarking from the plane I was meeting with family and then more family and friends so I wanted to look fresh and stylish of course. So… what to wear?
A great pair of fitted denim was first on my mind because sitting… sweating… freezing… it all looks better in denim. As for shoes I grabbed a rubber soled suede work style brogue which slips off easily in case I’d have to (which I totally did!(So Annoying) but I was prepared). Then came the shirt. Anything that ended up being wrinkled was out of the question so I opted for a printed fine cotton Eton of Sweden shirt.
Any potential wrinkling in the back from sitting was covered by my tweed Topman blazer with faux leather collar. Of course I was heading to Edmonton Alberta which is basically Siberia so I had to dress for cold and wind. I grabbed my red wind-proof Joe Fresh jacket (not shown) and tossed that on to bring out some of the red in the shirt but more so as a layering piece to cut the arctic windstorm that cleaves through my tweed blazer with intense frigidity.
But thankfully my fam warmed my heart which ended up allowing me to skip the jacket and enjoy my stay. Thanks everyone for the awesome birthday wishes!
