Now I’m not saying that the collection wasn’t good, in fact I think it fills the gap between the fashion fabulous and the rest, it is an everyday fashion collection.
This season, under the supervision of Creative Director Eyan Allen, Hugo delivered a fall line that was classic with an edge of sex appeal. This truly was a collection that was inspired to make women feel powerful and attractive on a daily basis.
The collection was made up of: black leather, wool, crisp cotton and silk, the color palette primarily dark, filled with deep midnight blue, charcoal grey and black, with a splash of vibrant red to catch your eye.
The lines and silhouettes of the season were simple and very Hugo Boss. They were made sexy with a slim cut black evening dress with center slit that trailed off to the side, off the shoulder looks, and raised skirts.
I left the show with two impressions: 1) The Women got a better collection the Hugo men this season and 2) I’m hungry, that show was boring.
