It is official! I have reached the ranks of international fashion blogdom!
“But Marquis of Fashion… how can you measure that?”
I simply check out easy to find stats and gauge them against my own. Voila!
So to celebrate I am making an article that will send a shout out to my fellow bloggers and let them know that I love them very much and I simply wouldn’t be here without them.
Blogging is fun. But hard at times to maintain motivation and persevere to become the best. For these reasons I respect these blogs that have truly made it to stardom and whether they are too modest to accept this or too ambivalent to recognize that there is a post congratulating them on my site, I want to wish them all well and a long future in the fashion blogging industry.
Style Bubble – Susie Lau is a name that I am sure most of you know, but if you don’t I think it’s time you checked out her site. She is a very well spoken fashion blogger from London who is smart, pretty, and has been blogging for many years. She is frequently at the shows and is often asked for interviews because she always has a good point and is on the money when it comes to the vision and direction of a show. She is the reason I strive to make a more eloquent blog.
Bryanboy – So Fabuleax he can barely be contained; if at all. He is (in a large way) the reason I blog today. I heard of him almost 10 years ago but never followed him until only about 2009. He is in your face, he wears heels, and he’s not afraid to tell you how much he hates elephant poop. Bryan Grey-Yambao (Yes that is Bryanboy) blogs unlike many are basically unedited, unfiltered opinions and what a better way to lure in an audience than to have your unadulterated opinion spilling onto the pages of your blog?
Susan Tabak – Though completely in a different age bracket, she is the reason I want to live in Paris. She used to be a personal shopper in Paris for A-listers, (and for all I know still is) but this woman lives in the most decadent Ready-to-wear and couture out there! She is always at the shows and always has a great time! Also her twitter stream is unending and tells us exactly who has the finest clothes and where to go to see them. Her tweets are also time sensitive so I will dub her the hottest twitterer (during fashion weeks) which is a huge award as she is among millions of competing twits.
Sea of Shoes – Jane Aldridge is a lovely lass that sports only the hottest up to the minute fashionable shoes and clothes imaginable. She was features in a book lately and this is what inspires me most about her. Aldrich was not the first one to write a book, but she was certainly the first to be in a book that was dedicated to fashion blogging. This is a passion of mine and I cannot wait to be published in my own book and story that is all about blogging and how it should be done.
The Sartorialist – Scott Schuman started The Sartorialist by incorporating what he knew and what he wanted to do with that knowledge. I both respect and admire his focus and drive on the subject of fashion and a good shot. He inspires me to become a better photographer.
These are my top five international fashion bloggers that have done really well for themselves and have inspired me in many ways. On that note I would also like to add my own fashion blog to the list as I am celebrating my small successes and my hopes, dreams, and desires to become an acclaimed, published fashion journalist.
