As you know… I, Mark St. James… Marquis of Fashion, write this fashion blog. All me all the time filled with my unadulterated opinions. This post is a thank you as well as a shout out to some of the other fashion blogs out there that are located around me and are absolutely fabulous and I love each and everyone of them!
Marie a la Mode – This fashion blogger is on FIRE and really knows how to pull her looks together. Marie Zydek is Canadian, she’s passionate about fashion, and it helps that she is easy on the eyes. I have a great time checking out Marie’s blog and finding out just what she is wearing today. her fashion blog never fails to impress and is always right on the money with trends in fashion and related fields such as cosmetics, textiles, and fabulous places that you want to be at including parties, resort locals, and various hot spots.
City and Dale – This blog is definitely more of a Edmonton blog that is the combination of fashion, happenings, food, and what’s new in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Heck even the name City and Dale is reference to City = Edmonton | Dale = Open river valley. Now if you have ever been in Edmonton you will understand and appreciate this. Why? Because Edmonton is just that, a city that is built around a gorgeous river valley that is truly the soul of Edmonton. City and Dale is an all encapsulating approach to Edmonton and the events that are happening within it. Check them out especially if you plan on visiting this northern City of 1 million. A big shout out to Kendall Barber who is the Founder and Editor.
A Pleasury of… A-Lines and B-Lines – This dynamic site is the brainchild of fashion bloggers Rowena and Stacey and they are at all the hot events wearing exclusive pieces from designers and volunteering for all the best causes. In their own words “A Pleasury of A-Lines and B-Lines is the product of [our] love for fashion, positive self-image, and community promotion” now what more does the fashion industry need than the keen sight of two amazing fashion bloggers with a philanthropic vision? I can’t think of anything more important than this.
With their commentary on self-expression coupled with their relationships with local business owners, artists, photographers, and stylists… (also bloggers) these two are the visionaries behind a very positive future for fashion in Edmonton and elsewhere. They also offer personal shopping!
Dress me Dearly – Hypothetically if I were the father of fashion bloggers… Janis Galloway would most definitely be the mother. Her blogs are frequent and surround her interests regardless of what anyone thinks should be put on a fashion blog or not. Her way or the highway. ‘At-a-girl!
Dress me Dearly is also full of Janis Galloway’s personal photos from the editorials that she has styled! Meaning that not only is she the photographer, and the stylist, but she is also the director. Keep up the great work Janis!
Adventures in Fashion – The master piece of Vickie Laliotis. AF is a true style blog, offering daily style tips, essential fashion do’s and don’ts , and is wonderfully written with a sense of humor and fantastic photographs to match. The blog is a refreshing change from so many style blogs that simply re-blog others style or street style. Everything here is written from a personal perspective, photo’s are taken with care and attention is paid to detail. Check her out and share the blog love!
To wrap this up I have to admit that these are only my top five and there are SO MANY MORE AMAZING fashion bloggers out there but sadly I can’t write forever.
