Last night was a very special night for two very special guys in our lives. My cousin and his long time bf tied the knot and had one of the coolest most original weddings that I’ve ever been to. They met on a flight going back home during Christmas and because of a delay they ended up sitting beside each other and chatting the whole flight. True love can be found during many occasions and a flight during the holidays is an endearing one to say the least. Since the flight they’ve been planning this perfect wedding… Just kidding, but after last night, it seemed like they had planned for years.
After arriving and receiving our in-flight meals (which were gluten and dairy free thanks to my cousin Shaun (Vegetashaun on Instagram and Twitter)) we had the pleasure of watching the two handsome grooms saying their own vows in front of friends and family and being married by an fficiator dressed head to toe in a pilots outfit. The gentlemen of the hour were suited up in tweed jackets and vests with detailed knitted ties and floral lapel pins.
It also happens that I wore a tweed suit as well completely by chance but we ended up making our own trend at the party. Mine was a grey tweed Theory suit and theirs were both Bespoke with Topman vests. Together they really made an impression and iteraly everyone was complimenting the beaming newlyweds on their stylish good looks and tailored suiting.
I wanted to wish the happy couple all the best and say congratulations on their joined life ahead.
