Pippa Middleton took centre stage at at the Alice Temperley show at London Fashion Week on Monday and raised more than just a few eyebrows with her outfit.
While the skirt fell gracefully just above the knee when standing about, it seemed to all but vanish when sitting down, in fact The Washington Post said” it gave photographers and eyeful”. Good for them. Unfortunately it seems as though Pippa is catching a lot of flak for the royal wardrobe malfunction, but as wardrobe malfunctions go, we’ve all seen worse (no need to mention names). Wearing a cream and black mini dress she had collected from the Temperley store earlier that day, Pippa was groomed to perfection with glossy curls and immaculate make up (in the same kohl-rimmed style favoured by her sister Kate).
Pippa was joined by Peaches Geldof and Rosario Dawson in a star-studded front row. Her arrival caused a flurry of flashes as the entire crowd craned their necks for a glimpse of Sister Duchess of Cambridge (and if all goes well with Earl George Percy, she may well have a title of her own soon).
Though the show may not have been the most talked about in London Fashion Week for it’s clothing, it was perhaps the most memorable thanks to Pippa (one wonders if anyone remembers the show… or only the royal appearance).
