This was an impromptu shoot as we found ourselves walking down a back alley. After pausing and thinking … hey this is stupid, this is how people get mugged (heaven forbid), we decided to break the tension by snapping some photo’s…yes, evidently in a potentially awkward situation I’ll break the tension with a series of well timed poses and flash. I can just see my mother rolling her eyes and shaking her head in disapproval.
While I don’t typically like shooting so close to dusk – for obvious reasons (mainly lighting) this turned out pretty well, so I figured I’d share…plus it’s a killer outfit … non?
As you know, I’m always running late to this or that. I spent what time I could searching the shoe closet for my red Gucci oxfords, but ran of out time, the Prada boots were already out by the door (neglected to put them away) so we have some unintentional black in an otherwise predominantly red ensemble.
Red pants, red shirt, grey jacket as an achromatic complementary color and the Green Alexander McQueen silk scarf (fashioned in this case as a pocket square) as the complement to red. Gotta say I was happy with the resulting look.
