Old New York, classic…with an elegant, contemporary charm. It’s a pale turquoise box of pure bliss. Whenever I unravel the silky white ribbon of a Tiffany box I can’t but feel a sense of nostalgia…and, dare I say, a touch of class. I also love candy, so it occurred to me… why not combine the two! Anyway it made for a fun and delicious photo shoot.
One of my fav’s: Large 18k yellow gold Elsa Peretti “O” on a red silk cord with mints (so fresh, so simple)
I spend most of my waking hours thinking about the latest fashion collection or what outfit to wear to my next party and rarely touch on the essentials of jewelry/accessorizing. Why? I don’t know! I normally leave the accessories department to my partner. I obsess about the clothes and he obsesses about jewelry… it’s a match made in heaven… but I digress.
Candy popcorn and the T&Co 1837 Rings: Silver and 18k yellow Gold (layered for the perfect combination)
If you don’t own at least a piece of Tiffany, you’re ridiculous. It’s not a judgment, it’s a fact. Stop wasting your money on cheap trinkets and invest in quality craftsmanship, a piece of iconography, and history.
Keys to life long friendships! Some friends and our Tiffany Key’s
Speaking of history, possibly the most important piece of jewelry: Wedding bands: Traditional Tiffany Bands in 18k yellow gold…and M&M’s (pun intended! it’s our initials… I know… gag) As you can see, they are well worn, every scratch is a beautiful memory, from the Great Wall of China to Paris Fashion Week. All about the love.
One of the most remarkable things about Tiffany Jewelry is its inherent way of being worn by men or women and having the piece look distinctly masculine or delicate and feminine. This next wonderment is from the Atlas Collection. The Small Atlas pendant in silver. It was a my first piece of Tiffany given to me to symbolize an everlasting love (insert: Awwww here). On men the Atlas looks defined, sharp and gives you the impression that the guy is confident and stylish. On a woman, it becomes surprisingly delicate. For men, wear it on a short chain, women: wear it on a long chain so it accentuates the V of your blouse. This necklace is great for everyday wear. Also try Smarties and Popcorn (hell on calories, great for a movie night)
Here we have a pendant from the Tiffany Men’s Collection. Black titanium (comes with a rubber chain) T & Co pendant, it makes the perfect addition to an all black Tom Ford suite or a great pairing with Diesel Zathan’s, tailored Dior V-neck Tee, black Prada belt, Paul Smith boots, and a simple leather coat.
