Indie Rocker: Colin Close for Street Style:
Colin Close, Street Style: A man with many talents that range from carpentry to wooing the ladies, and his secret weapon is his sultry singing voice and the way he strums on his guitar.
I don’t know if it is a handbook that folk rock musicians acquire when they decide to create music, but they seemingly all have great style. From The Avery Brothers to… well, Colin Close, this breed of men (and some women) are strangly in the know when it comes to being stylish. For the record I did not dress Colin for this shoot it was all him all the time. Although I did throw in a cupcake for a pop of color here and there.
His style is awesome from his gap pants and top to his hat that he simply went from not-owning to owning… some how (such a fab life being a rockstar!) The boots were from Town Shoes and the glasses were picked up from a local shop called Divine on Whyte Avenue (which Colin stopped in while we were shooting to grab the shades. (and I ended up picked up a pair of shoes. (What?)))
His look is that of a indie rocker who wears vintage clothes and accessorizes with meaningful pieces such as his grandfathers watch or his epic necklace that apparently came from a bottle? The way he carries himself has a kind of roll with the punches sway to it and no one is going to break his style.
