In the new documentary “God Save My Shoes”, we will get a firsthand look at the urban myth of the Vogue Accessories Closet, and more specifically the aisles and aisles of shoes! Finally, in September, we will all get to see that it does!!!!
The documentary is set to release during the Paris Spring Fashion Week and will feature some of the industry greats including Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin! Spoiler rumours have already hinted that viewers will get an intimate look not only into the Vogue Accessory closet, but will also get to watch some of the editors pick from the drool worthy selection to feature in the magazine.
As pretty as the documentary will be, it will also be an examination between a lady and her shoe’s, what that relationship means, and how it affects culture. We will not only get a peek into Vogue’s dreamland but also into the shoe collections of some of Hollywood’s most famed shoe lovers, and yes, that includes the the fabulous Dita Von Teese.
Although the documentary will debut in September, it is rumored that the release date in the US is set for some time in November! We will be sure to keep you posted on this one!
