Lady Gaga just keeps us on the edge of our seats and this time is no exception. It has just been let out that the superstar will sit down with fashion designer legend, Jean Paul Gaultier for a CW television special.
“Gaga by Gaultier” will air on CW September 12th, 2011 in the middle of New York Fashion Week, which is perfect timing for us; Fashionista’s eat it up!
Rumor is, all the questions we have ever had when it comes to Gaga’s fashion choices, could be revealed. Gaultier and Gaga meet in the designer’s Paris studio to sit down for a fashion heart to heart. The designer will ask the member of pop royalty why she chooses to wear what she does, how her fashion choices translates to the public (planned or unplanned), how she executed her wildly outrageous (some might even say mildly inappropriate) outfits, and how much control does she actually have over her persona.
It only makes sense that Gaultier is the designer to sit down with Gaga, who has already reached music artist legend status. Gaultier has worked with the Queen of Pop herself, Madonna, designing her costumes for her Blonde Ambition Tour and Confessions Tour, as well as Marilyn Manson. He has also taken his turn at making music with his dance track, “How To Do That” in 1988. He certainly has experience with what goes into creating a musical image in the media, he will most definitely ask those questions that are burning the tongue of all her little monsters around the globe.
