When you mix Neoprene with Plexiglas and throw in some cotton what do you get? Konrad Parol’s Spring 2011 mens fashion collection. I’m in heat for this collection but not just for the wild diversity of fabrics but also for the day when men can wear every single one of these pieces on the streets.
The clothes are edgy and diced up in the way they are cut to fall on the body. New mens silhouettes that emphasize the stomach and back were born on this Poland runway where this collection was showcased as a part of The Polish Fashion Week.
The colors consisted of cheetah print and blacks but the textures were anywhere from mirrored plexiglas mixed with sheer tops and bottoms and lets not forget the soft ruffles. The glimmering gold flecked fabric was shown throughout the show and looked rough to the touch. Overall, a perfect portrait of an urban man is formed. He is clean and hard, yet saucy and on the hunt.
My hood is off to you Mr.Parol you’re animal magnetism has made this collection a fav in my books!
